I really like this course, because, it accommodates me much more to learn practical forms than theoretical, is more entertaining and much more interesting to be able to physically appreciate what is happening in the reactions.

In the classes that they perform mainly they practice with topics of the course, for example, synthesis of aromatic compounds, reactions of SN1 and SN2, dienes, alkenes, etc.

The syntheses consist mainly of obtaining a compound determined from another through reactions with solvents and specific reagents. What is usually done is to mix the reactants, bring a heating up a reflux so that the reaction takes place, then a reduced pressure and recrystallize with a specific solvent, to obtain a greater purity of the compound that we want. After making sure that the compound we got is the one you want, calculate its melting point, if you fit with the theoretical means that the compound is the one you expected. We also make TLC plates, where we put the primary pattern with the synthesized to see the difference.
