Marie Curie

She was a
Polish, nationalized French scientist. Pioneer in the field of radioactivity,
was the first person to receive two Nobel Prizes in different specialties
(Physics and Chemistry) and the first woman to occupy the post of professor at
the University of Paris.
He was born
in Warsaw, studied clandestinely in the "floating university" of
Warsaw and began his scientific education in that city. She shared the 1903
Nobel Prize for Physics with her husband Pierre Curie and physicist Henri
Becquerel. Years later, he won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1911. He named
the first chemical element he discovered, polonium, as his country of origin.
She
developed the theory of radioactivity (a term she named herself), techniques
for the isolation of radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two elements -
polonium and radium.
I like it
because she is one of the few women who succeeded in growing successfully in
chemistry, capable of developing important theories and discoveries, which led
her to obtain many famous awards such as Nobel Prizes.
